What kind of paint does one use to paint ceiling fan blades?

we bought a cheap white one, eschewing the $50 one with rainbow-colored blades, and figured we could paint the blades ourselves. What kind of paint does one use to paint ceiling fan blades?
Remove the blades from the fan. Get a sealer called ';Kilz';. Put one coat of sealer to seal the existing colors. Then purchase a ';good'; quality spray paint,,,,,the color of your choice. Paint the blades with two coats of the paint. Make sure the paint is ';dry'; and set before reattaching to the fan. That should work. What kind of paint does one use to paint ceiling fan blades?
If you are painting it white go get a gallon of Porter Paint's advantage 900. Great stuff
Any old Spray paint should work.

Be careful not to spray too heavy or it will run. If it does, wipe it off and start over.
How about spray-paint?
We bought a plain white one for my DD's room, and painted each blade a different pastel color. Just any ol' spray paint will do. We may have used Krylon brand, but any will be good. Get glossy, so dust won't stick.

Spray the blades before attaching them to the metal arms.
I've painted them before, and it looked great, very easy too. All you have to do is uscrew three little screws, and they come off. I would recommend something glossier than an eggshell so that it's easier to get the dust off (you know how gross they can get). But any paint would work.
Any paint should work, but be sure to 'rough up' the surface first so the paint will adhere!
