What is the best ceiling paint in a bathroom to avoid condensation stains?

Ive just used a paint called ZINZER, its a stain blocker and works very well..1 hour drying time and you can emulsion over it after that time..though you are best leaving it a little longer, maybe 2 hours then apply the emulsion, or you can use Eggshell...What is the best ceiling paint in a bathroom to avoid condensation stains?
You can buy paint especially for bathrooms %26amp; kitchens which stops mildew.

All the usual DIY stores sell it. It's far more expensive than normal paint, but cheaper in the long run because it lasts such a long time. What is the best ceiling paint in a bathroom to avoid condensation stains?
If an exhaust fan is out of the question for whatever reason

tried opening the window every now and then?
if there is condensation spots it is best to wash them off as much as you can b4 painting. Water stains will always bleed through a latex paint or primer. You need to seal water stains in with an oil primer. If painting a textured cieling then just use a flat oil paint that will take care of any stains. If painting a flat cieling you can procede with a sheen in your paint for more washability after the water stains are sealed with the oil primer. Pick a paint that has an anti mildew additive. Behr paint has this.
Really, the best thing to do, and the most sensible thing would be to purchase and install an exhaust fan.
crown do a paint for bathrooms and kitchens check out there web site
Crown or dulux emulsion paint is good for bathrooms as it is washable and easy to maintain. However it may be a good idea to have an extractor fan fitted to stop the condensation stains.
glossy and you might want to add mildicide it prevent the growth of mold and mildew
use a silk emulsion or egg shell silk emulsion would be easier to apply but before you do paint it buy some uni bond and apply water to it an give it a coat of that , it will stop the dampness
oil based paints.mixed with kilz primer.
clean the ceiling thoroughly and apply 2 even coates of B.I.N. seal primer... i promise it is the best stuff on the market... killz is good for minor obsolite jobs... i work in the field of fire and water restoration... it is the only smoke and water stain sealer that really works... even an oil based stain lock primer from any other manufacturer has never lived up to its name as they say they would... water stains bleed through everything else other than B.I.N. seal primer... no need for thier oil based primer either... its a difficult product to work with so make sure you cover everything in you bathroom with painters sheathing... its a real loose liquid... for your actual finish coat... i preffer to use benjamin moore kitchen and bath. it is formulated to resist mildew from generating on your ceilings and walls... they also have mold and mildew resistant formulas to mix into the paint(as recommended by the manufacturer)... a nice finish would be satin or matte on the walls and a flat on the ceiling... installing a ventilation fan in your ceiling is the best preventitive measure to ensure the least chances of a reoccurance.. make sure it vents out of the structure. but please if there is any thing to trust me on.... USE THE B.I.N. SEAL PRIMER... i realy hope this helps you and have fun with the project
