Please help! I taped the wall to paint ceiling, removed tape and some paint came off. How do I fix it?

If you're really a stickler, get a small amount of joint compound and use a putty knife to repair the dent the missing paint will leave.


When this dries, sand it lightly (220 grit) use a disposable brush to dab the area with primer, to avoid ';flashing';, wash the dispo out, and dab, don't stroke, the area with the original color.

Two options as I see it sister either try to take the missing paint chip off very carefully from the tape and put it back on with some Elmer's school glue or find the color match paint and a paint brush with a nice sharp angle on it or a paint sponge with the same angle and paint the spot over.Please help! Guess you have to re paint again, with matching shade.

Next time use a 'low tack'; tape,
I think you should just simply repaint it..
