Is there some kind of textured ceiling paint that will hide pock marks in the canec?

When my daughter was younger, we put adhesive glow in the dark stars on her bedroom ceiling. Now that she's older, we peeled them off, leaving pock marks and gouges everywhere. I tried using spackling, but I know the imperfections will show through the paint. Is there a simple, diy, inexpensive procedure I can do to the ceiling to hide these marks? Is there some kind of textured ceiling paint that will hide pock marks in the canec?
Hi, this is reasonably easy to fix.

Remove any loose or flaky paint from the gouges, remove any residue from the stickers with turps. Spot prime the gouges/flaky

paint with oil based undercoat.

Go to your local hardware store and buy a finishing plaster to fill the holes etc. When dry sand with 180 grit sandpaper to a uniform finish. Take particular care the edges of the filler are fared of smooth. You may need do fill twice for a perfect finish.

Spot prime the sanded filler with undercoat and then again with the topcoat.

You are now ready to repaint the ceiling

I would use a standard ceiling paint.
