Primer paint is used to get the paint to stick really good. I would get some good primer so it will not chip off with time. Maybe use the ceiling paint for the final coat.Can I use Latex ceiling paint as a primer for the wall, if its going to be painted white anyways?
YES! as long as your walls have paint on them now and you';ll have to sand the sheen down so that it will adhere good, then top coat with a good eggshell or semi-gloss enamel. Zinzeer makes a great bathroom paint, garunteed for 5 yrs. Use acrylic paint (water based) for your top coat, don't use any oil based, good luck Les the painter

primers are used to help cover paint and help adhear new paint you should check with a paint rep and make the right chose it may cost a bit more but it will save you alot of work when you have to repaint and the paint will blister and peel
